Karine Breckpot, PhD, is a Professor at the Translational Oncology Research Center within Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). Her research focuses on designing innovative immunotherapies through:
- Ex vivo/in vivo manipulation of dendritic cells and T cells
- Engineering tumor microenvironment support systems
- Application of mRNA, lentiviral vectors, and nanobodies
Her work spans preclinical models (human/mouse cells, melanoma models) to phase I/II clinical translation. Recent publications highlight advancements in:
