Karina Langle

Dr. Karina Langle serves as a Clinical Instructor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in a part-time capacity, with appointments spanning August 2015-May 2021 and February 2022-present. She concurrently owns Lunettes Family Eyecare and Optical Boutique since 2017 and has prior clinical experience at the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago (2015-2018) and in private practice (2007-2018).

She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007 (cum laude) and a Bachelor of Science from Saint Xavier University in 2002 (summa cum laude).

Her professional focus centers on Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease management, complemented by expertise in Private Practice operations and Business Management. Her clinical scholarship addresses diverse ocular pathologies including corneal disorders, retinal conditions, neuro-ophthalmic manifestations, and traumatic injuries.

Her publications from 2009-2011 reveal a consistent emphasis on diagnostic protocols and therapeutic interventions across multiple ophthalmic subspecialties, demonstrating comprehensive clinical knowledge applicable to complex patient cases.
