Karin Granström is a Professor in Environmental and Energy Systems Research at Karlstad University. She leads the Water-Energy Nexus research team within the Pro2BE environment (Processes and Products for a Circular BioEconomy). Her research focuses on sustainable biofuel production from forest residues, anaerobic digestion, and environmentally friendly processes like drying and pelleting. She has authored multiple textbooks, including Introduction to Environmental Chemistry and a self-published climate-neutral cookbook.
