Prof. Karin Borck is a Professor of Childhood Education at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on anthropological themes in educational and social work contexts, including consolation, death, grief, pain, and the meaning of waiting. She is responsible for organizing the "Family-Friendly University" initiative and serves on key committees such as the Departmental Council and as Anti-discrimination Officer. Borck is also a board member of Iffe eV and teaches in the Master in Early Childhood Education program.
