Karin Blomberg

Karin Blomberg is an Assistant Professor at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, based in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing and Health Promotion. She also serves as Head of Studies for Area of responsibility 4, underscoring her dual role in teaching and curricular leadership.

Her research centres on nursing education, especially the development of local curricula that support learning and assessment during clinical placements. She investigates how nurse mentors experience these assessment processes and how students navigate learning environments, including during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
