Karin Bellows

Karin Bellows, MHPTT, R.T. (R) (ARRT), is an accomplished radiographer, educator, and clinical coordinator at Nebraska Methodist College. With over a decade of experience in radiography and imaging sciences, she specializes in trauma, private practice, and orthopedics, and has served as a clinical preceptor. Her work focuses on clinical education, curriculum development, and student mentorship, alongside advocacy for academic excellence and interprofessional collaboration.

Karin’s research interests center on advancing radiography through clinical education, AI integration in healthcare, and innovative teaching methodologies. Her recent presentations highlight trends in imaging technology, prompt engineering, and the role of artificial intelligence in medical diagnostics.

She has received numerous accolades, including the NMC Distinguished Educator Award, ASRT Continuing Education Scholarship, and the Discovery and Collaboration Award for Active Learning. Karin is actively involved in professional societies such as the Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
