Karin Bartel

Dr. Karin Bartel is a researcher in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Munich, focusing on innovative cancer therapies targeting the endolysosomal system and tumor-immune interactions. Her work explores mechanisms of chemoresistance, lysosomal membrane transporters, and drug delivery systems. She leads a research group investigating the role of endolysosomal cation channels (e.g., TRPMLs, TPCs) in cancer progression and immune modulation.
