Kari Sormunen is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Eastern Finland's School of Applied Educational Science and Teacher Education within the Philosophical Faculty. His work focuses on science education, particularly in primary and secondary teacher training programs. He teaches pedagogy of science to future teachers in multidisciplinary studies and supervises bachelor's and master's theses. Dr. Sormunen has participated in multiple European teacher education projects, including a Fulbright visiting scholar experience at Stanford University (2016).
