Kari Foss

Kari Foss is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine at the University of Illinois. She is affiliated with the Neuroscience Program and the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology.

Her research focuses on neuroimaging, veterinary neurology, and neuropharmacology, with particular emphasis on developing MRI protocols for comparative neuroanatomy, studying pharmacokinetics in companion animals, and innovating neurosurgical techniques.

Recent publications highlight her work in orthopaedic implant technology, brain tumor resection, and neurological disease management in cats and dogs. Her research spans both clinical applications and educational methodologies in veterinary neurology.
