Karen Petrie is a Professor (Teaching and Scholarship) of Algorithms and Education in the School of Computing at the University of Dundee. Her research focuses on constraint programming, genetic algorithms, and educational technology, with notable contributions to HIV intervention analysis in Malawi and the integration of social media like Facebook in higher education.
