Karen Pashby

Professor Karen Pashby holds the position of Professor of Global Citizenship Education and Lead for Research in the School of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University. She also serves as President of the Comparative and International Education Society of Canada (2023-2025) and leads the Education and Global Futures Research Group. Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Toronto (2013) and postdoctoral research at the University of Oulu and the University of Alberta. She holds additional roles as Docent at the University of Helsinki and Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta.
