Karen O'Brien

Karen O’Brien is a Professor at the University of Oslo’s Department of Sociology and Human Geography, Norway, and co-founder of cCHANGE, a consultancy focused on climate change transformations. Her research emphasizes quantum social change, sustainability transitions, and the social dimensions of climate adaptation.
