Karen Morris

Karen Morris is a Teaching Professor in the Communication and Journalism Department at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in forensics and communication education with over two decades of dedicated service.

Her academic credentials include:

• M.A. in Speech Communication from Texas State University-San Marcos
• B.A. in Speech and Drama Education from East Central University

Dr. Morris's research spans forensic communication practices, persuasion theory, and interpersonal dynamics. Her expertise in oral interpretation, conflict resolution, and contemporary communication pedagogy has shaped UWEC's nationally recognized forensics program. She integrates practical event planning with theoretical frameworks to prepare students for competitive speech and debate.
