Karen Matthews is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also the founder and CEO of Purpose-Driven Consulting (PDC), specializing in technical business and career development services. Previously, she held senior innovation roles at Corning Incorporated's Science and Technology Division, focusing on optical communications growth in wired and wireless sectors.
Her educational background includes:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University
- M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership from Cornell University
- M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University
