Karen Manitsas

Karen Manitsas is an Assistant Professor at Samuel Merritt University, where she teaches courses in the Physician Assistant Program. She holds a Doctorate of Health Professions Education (DHPE), a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPA), and is certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).

• Education: BA in Communication/Media Arts, MS in Education, MPA in Physician Assistant Studies, DHPE from Logan University

Her research focuses on the impact of frequent student self-testing on standardized test performance. She has contributed to scholarly discussions in medical education and evidence-based practice.

Karen is affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) as a Fellow Member.
