Karageorgou Vasilliki

Professor Vasilliki Karageorgou is affiliated with the Department of International, European and Area Studies at Panteion University of Social and Political Science in Athens, Greece. She holds a PhD in Environmental Law from the University of Cologne and has extensive professional experience as a Legal Advisor to the Greek Deputy Minister for Environment, a Consultant to UNEP-MAP, and a Senior Investigator at the Greek Ombudsman. Her teaching focuses on European Environmental Law, Policy, and International Environmental Governance related to the Mediterranean Sea. Key research interests include EU and National Environmental Law interrelations, judicial protection under EU Administrative Law, and transparency principles in EU legal frameworks.
