Dr. Karabi Nandy is an Associate Professor at the Peter O’Donnell School of Public Health, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, with a joint appointment in the Department of Psychiatry’s Center for Depression Research. She holds an interdisciplinary background in statistics and has held prior academic roles at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (2016–2020), UCLA (2007–2016), and the University of Illinois at Chicago (2004–2007). Her research focuses on translational and public health studies, emphasizing statistical methodology in clinical trials, mental health interventions, and healthcare disparities.
Her expertise includes study design, sampling strategies, and data analysis across diverse fields such as nursing, psychiatry, and medicine.
