Kara A. Stevens is a Professor and founding Director of the Master of Science in Accounting Program at Bay Path University. With over a decade of teaching experience and a professional background in auditing, corporate accounting, and nonprofit financial management, she emphasizes a "theory to practice" approach to prepare students for real-world accounting challenges.
Dr. Stevens earned her BBA and MBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her doctorate in Finance from Pace University in NYC. Her research focuses on financial and economic literacy programs, aligning with her leadership roles in organizations like Junior Achievement and the Girls Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts.
