Kaori Komatsu is a Professor at the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences, Waseda University, specializing in Department of Oriental History. With a Doctor of Letters from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Arts from Ochanomizu University, her work bridges military history, social welfare analysis, and maritime studies.
