Professor Joy Kanwar is a Professor of Legal Writing at Brooklyn Law School and currently serves as the Arthur Pinto & Stephen Bohlen Associate Dean of Inclusion & Diversity. Her work bridges legal pedagogy with issues of inclusion and historical narratives in immigration/citizenship law. She previously practiced litigation at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
