Kamila Grazyna Oles

Kamila Grazyna Oles is a Research Fellow and Associate Lecturer across the School of Art History and School of English at the University of St Andrews. Her work focuses on digital methods for curating, documenting, and preserving cultural heritage, including 3D digitization, virtual exhibitions, and UI/UX design for heritage projects. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through initiatives like the Virtual Orkney exhibit platform and pandemic-era digital teaching strategies.

Her research spans topics such as cerebral visual impairment simulations, museum collections digitization, and historical site reconstructions. Key projects include the Dora Hitz in Peles Castle virtual exhibition and collaborative work on immersive learning technologies. She has been recognized with the Europeana Special Prize (2021) and the ICOM AVICOM Award (2022).
