Kamil Kęska

Kamil Kęska serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Composition, Music Theory, and Sound Engineering, Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where he has taught core subjects including Studio Techniques, Digital Sound Editing Techniques, Acoustics, Electroacoustics, and Basic Electronics since 2006. He co-created the "100% Sound on a Film Set" workshops under the Polish Film Institute's patronage.

His academic foundation includes Computer Control Systems (2003-2005) and Computer Metrology (2000-2003) from Nicolaus Copernicus University, complemented by 2018 postgraduate studies in Music History with Elements of Contemporary Musical Culture from the Institute of Art, Polish Academy of Sciences.

Kęska's research spans Sound Engineering, Electroacoustics, and Bioart, driving interdisciplinary projects like the SHMIB (Symultaniczna Hybryda Muzyki Improwizowanej i Bioartu) initiative. His professional work integrates classical, jazz, and electronic music production with cutting-edge technology, notably reconstructing Kazimierz Serocki's "Pianophonie" using MAX/MSP for performances at "Warsaw Autumn" (2014), Szczecin SoundLAB (2015), and Toronto International Electroacoustics Symposium (2016).

Kęska maintains active membership in the Audio Engineering Society since 2011.
