Dr. Kamel Sultan is an Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellow at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Queensland. His research spans electromagnetic biomedical imaging, 5G/6G antenna design, and satellite communication systems. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UQ and Master's/Bachelor's degrees from Cairo University and Minufiya University.
Research Interests: Dr. Sultan specializes in:
- Developing wearable electromagnetic systems for real-time medical diagnostics (e.g., knee/torso imaging)
- Designing reconfigurable antennas for 5G/6G networks and satellite communications
- Creating compact, low-SAR antennas for IoT and biomedical applications
