معرفی
Kalman Szabo serves as Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Wuppertal and concurrently holds the position of Head of the Research Group for Nuclear and Particle Physics at the Jülich Supercomputing Center (JSC), Forschungszentrum Jülich. His dual affiliation bridges academic theoretical physics with high-performance computing infrastructure.
His research interests include:
- Nuclear Physics
- Particle Physics
- Theoretical Physics
At JSC, he leads computational research initiatives applying supercomputing resources to fundamental physics problems, with emphasis on modeling nuclear interactions and particle behavior. His work integrates advanced simulation techniques with theoretical frameworks to address complex phenomena in subatomic physics.
As Principal Investigator in Helmholtz Information Program 1, Topic 1, he contributes to strategic computational science development within Germany's largest scientific organization. His leadership spans research direction, resource allocation, and collaborative project management across institutional boundaries.
