Kalman Graffi

Prof. Kalman Graffi is a Professor of Networks, Communication Systems, and Cybersecurity at Bingen University of Applied Sciences. He holds a Dr.-Ing. from TU Darmstadt and has held academic roles at institutions like the University of Düsseldorf and University of Paderborn. Previously, he was a Principal Scientist at Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH (2019–2022).

His research focuses on secure, scalable networks (e.g., overlay networks, robot swarms) and privacy-preserving computing. Notable contributions include work on peer-to-peer frameworks (LibreSocial), threat modeling, and fog computing optimizations for IoT.
