Professor Kalina Manova is a Professor of Economics at University College London (UCL), specializing in international trade, investment, and global value chains. She holds a PhD from Harvard University and has held academic positions at Stanford, Princeton, and Oxford. Her research focuses on firm productivity, financial frictions in trade, and multinational activity, with grants totaling over €4M from the ERC and UKRI. She serves on editorial boards for journals like Review of Economic Studies and is a Fellow of prestigious institutions including the Econometric Society and CEPR.
