Kalala J. Ngalamulume serves as Professor of Africana Studies and History and Co-Director of Health Studies at Bryn Mawr College, with cross-appointments in Africana Studies, History, Health Studies, and International Studies departments.

Current investigations explore sexually-transmitted diseases in colonial Senegal and Baluba-Lulua tribal formation in Belgian Congo. He teaches global health histories, urban history, witchcraft social history, and African economic development frameworks.
