Kaitlyn Bryson

Kaitlyn Bryson, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor and Hematology/Blood and Marrow Transplant clinical pharmacist at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. She holds adjunct faculty status within the College of Pharmacy. Her clinical practice focuses on inpatient and outpatient malignant hematology and stem cell transplant services.

Dr. Bryson earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residencies in Hematology/Oncology at UF Health Shands Hospital. Her teaching includes oncology therapeutics curriculum development and precepting students/residents in hematology and transplant service lines.

Research interests revolve around acute leukemias, infectious disease management in immunocompromised patients, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy advancements. She actively contributes to clinical drug safety and pharmacokinetic studies in oncology populations.

Publications focus on methotrexate clearance in pediatric patients, engraftment syndrome in transplant recipients, and predictive factors for infusion reactions. Her work bridges clinical practice innovations with translational research outcomes in hematology/oncology settings.
