Kaitlin Moore is an Assistant Professor of Literature in the Department of English at Wake Forest University. Her work examines intersections of environmental humanities, Indigenous studies, and digital media with particular focus on Pacific literatures.
Dr. Moore's research explores ecopoetics in literary and digital media, Indigenous cosmologies, nuclear legacies in Oceania, and environmental storytelling in video games. She investigates how cultural narratives represent human-environment relationships during ecological crises.
Her publications analyze nuclear aesthetics in Marshallese poetry, apocalyptic environments in survival games, Indigenous kinship paradigms in Māori literature, and posthuman representations in digital narratives. Recent work demonstrates strong engagement with decolonial approaches to ecological crisis representation.
