Kaden Holladay

Kaden Holladay is a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at Harvard University. He holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2023) and previously taught at Western Washington University (2023-2024). His research focuses on morphology, syntax, and their interface with semantics, particularly exploring person contrasts in natural language and their typological implications.

He also engages with computational approaches to word-order typology and ellipsis phenomena (e.g., Right Node Raising, VP ellipsis).

Teaching: He has instructed courses ranging from introductory linguistics to advanced morphology/syntax at Harvard and Western Washington University, as well as field methods and linguistic theory at UMass Amherst.
