Kacper Zamarło is an accomplished Polish filmmaker and academic affiliated with the National Film School in Łódź, where he serves as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Cinematography and Television Production, Department of Animated Film and Special Effects. Born on July 9, 1986 in Sosnowiec, he graduated from the Animated Film and Special Effects program in 2011, earned his PhD in Film Art in 2016, and completed his habilitation in film and theatre arts in 2024.
His research interests span animation, film direction, visual effects, compositing, film production, and screenwriting. With a career spanning from 2008 to present, Zamarło has established himself as a versatile filmmaker working across feature films, documentaries, animated films, and student productions. His work demonstrates technical excellence in animation and visual effects, with notable contributions to numerous award-winning productions.
