Kaara Peterson is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Boston University, specializing in Renaissance material, visual, and medical/scientific cultures, as well as detective fiction and Shakespeare theater reviews. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Boston University (2001) and is a first-generation graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences. Her research frequently involves analyses of museum and library artifacts. Dr. Peterson has held recent fellowships at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and has taught in London-based English and writing programs.
