Prof KOH Choon Huat Gerald is a Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), affiliated with the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He serves as Clinical Director at the Ministry of Health’s Future Primary Care and Office of Healthcare Transformation. His academic qualifications include a PhD in Family Medicine (2012) from Western University, Canada, and multiple postgraduate degrees in Gerontology, Medicine, and Family Practice from NUS and the University of Malta.
His research focuses on stroke rehabilitation, geriatric care, and healthcare transformation. Teaching areas include Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Public Health, and Biostatistics/Epidemiology. Notable achievements include developing tele-rehabilitation systems for stroke patients, founding T-Rehab Pte Ltd, and being a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (2014).
