Jürgen Stremlow is a Lecturer and Project Manager at the Lucerne School of Social Work (HSLU). He holds a PhD and licentiate in Sociology from the University of Zurich, along with a diploma in social work. His expertise spans social provision systems, aging policy, and self-help research. Stremlow has led research initiatives such as the Total Revision of Social Institutions Law in the Canton of Schwyz and the Strategy for Aging in Canton Zug. He co-leads interdisciplinary networks like the Central Swiss Health Cluster and the 'Space & Society' thematic cluster. His work emphasizes integrated social planning, governance innovation, and participatory approaches to community aging policies.

He actively contributes to professional organizations like the Swiss Society for Social Work and serves on Caritas Luzern's executive board.
