Jürgen Kusche

Jürgen Kusche is a Professor at the University of Bonn's Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation, affiliated with the Collaborative Research Centre SFB1502 and Faculty of Agriculture. His research develops satellite-geodetic methods for Earth system analysis.

Kusche's group integrates geodetic data with Earth System Models to study sea level changes, terrestrial water cycles, and climate processes. They investigate lunar orbiter ranging, satellite radar altimetry, and spaceborne gravimetry for mass change monitoring.

Current research explores quantum technology applications for climate change quantification, advancing observation techniques from terrestrial to spaceborne platforms across multiple spatial scales.
