Júlia Seixas is a Professor at the NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA) in Lisbon, Portugal. Her research spans remote sensing, energy systems, and climate change mitigation. She is an integrated member of the Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE) and coordinates its Energy & Climate group, focusing on carbon neutrality through integrated energy modeling, sustainable technologies, and policy innovation. From March 2017 to June 2022, she served as President of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at FCT NOVA. Currently, she holds the position of Pro-Rector for Sustainability at NOVA University Lisbon.
