Jörn Knobloch is a Lecturer in Political Science at Leipzig University and Coordinator of the Leibniz-Lab 'Social upheavals and transformations' at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL). He holds a postdoctoral background in Political Theory and has held roles including Scientific Coordinator of the Graduate School 'Health Policy and Systems in Uncertainties' at Bielefeld University (2023–2024) and Research Associate at the University of Lübeck and Museum für Naturkunde Berlin (2020–2021). His research focuses on citizen science, interdisciplinary knowledge integration, pandemic governance, and epistemological pluralism in policy-making.
