Jörn Fischer

Prof. Dr. Jörn Fischer is a Professor of Sustainable Landscapes at Leuphana University's Social-Ecological Systems Institute (SESI), which he co-directs with Prof. Berta Martín-López. His research focuses on sustainability science, landscape ecology, and the interplay between social-ecological systems, conservation science, and food security. He has published over 200 journal articles and led projects such as the ERC-funded SESyP initiative in Ethiopia.
