Jörg Lagemann

Prof. Jörg Lagemann serves as a Professor and Programme Head for the Bachelor in Engineering and Management at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), School of Engineering and Environment. He additionally leads the Centre for Casting, driving research and development initiatives in foundry technologies.

His research spans Engineering Management, Casting Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, and Industrial Engineering, with emphasis on bridging theoretical frameworks with industrial applications in metal casting processes. This focus directly supports his leadership in the Centre for Casting and academic program development.

As Head of the Centre for Casting, he oversees a dedicated team advancing innovation in casting methodologies, collaborating closely with industry partners to address real-world manufacturing challenges in the foundry sector.
