Juwon Hwang is an Assistant Professor of Media Science in the College of Communication at Boston University, researching intersections of health communication and new media technologies to drive behavioral health outcomes and evidence-based campaign design.

Research: Combines computational and conventional methods to investigate how new media shapes mental well-being and how political polarization influences scientific perceptions.
