Prof. Dr. Jutta Weber is a Professor of Media Sociology at the Institute of Media Studies within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Paderborn, a position she has held since October 2011. She maintains an active research and teaching profile with a focus on the intersection of technology, media, and society.
Her research interests span Technology and Media Theory, Technoscience Studies, Cultural Media Studies, Surveillance, Military & Critical Security Studies, and Feminist/Gender Studies.
