Justyna Zabawa

Dr. hab. Justyna Zabawa serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Banking at Wrocław University of Economics, where she leads research at the intersection of financial systems and sustainability. Her work examines how banking institutions integrate environmental and social governance into core operations while maintaining financial viability, with particular focus on Central European markets.

Her research spans Banking Regulation, ESG Frameworks, and Sustainable Finance, investigating the tension between ecological responsibility and profitability metrics.
