Justyna Szklarczyk-Lauer

Justyna Szklarczyk-Lauer is a Professor at the Chair of Graphic Design and Head of the Department since 2016, affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (Katowice branch). She has held roles such as Dean of the Faculty of Design (2008–2012) and Vice-Dean of Graphic Art, Painting, and Design (2006–2008). She specializes in Visual Information Design, focusing on wayfinding systems, signage integration in architecture, and multimedia projects. Her work emphasizes user-centric design, seen in projects like the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra’s visual system and the Insects Project addressing Central European typography.
