Justyna Ryczek

Dr. Justyna Ryczek is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arts in Poznań, where she contributes to academic and artistic discourse. She holds a doctorate in philosophy from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and is the author of two notable books: Beauty in Postmodern Culture (2006) and Coexistence: Art and Space (2021).

Her research focuses on contemporary art, particularly its intersections with public space, ethics, popular culture, everyday life, and new media. Since 2013, she has served as the editor-in-chief of Zeszyty Artystyczne (Artistic Notebooks), a journal published by the University of Arts in Poznań.

She actively participates in academic conferences and is a member of the Polish Aesthetic Society. Additionally, she works as an art critic and exhibition curator, blending theoretical and practical approaches in her field.
