Dr. Justyna Młynarczyk is a Doctor of Musical Arts and lecturer at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, teaching viola da gamba and chamber music since 2013. Born in Katowice, she transitioned from cello to become a specialist in early music performance.

Her research centers on Monsieur de Sainte Colombe's legacy and 17th-century French viola da gamba performance practices, with significant contributions through translations of historical treatises. She specializes in French repertoire from the late Baroque era, advancing historically informed interpretation techniques.
She received a Fryderyk Award nomination (2021) for the Filatura di Musica album "Canzonas Known and Unknown. Pelplin Tablature" and has recorded over a dozen albums with leading ensembles.
Dr. Młynarczyk actively collaborates with Poland's premier early music groups including {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna, Capella Cracoviensis, and Vasa Consort. She forms the JKM viola da gamba duo with her husband Piotr and consults with composer Wojciech Stępień on contemporary gamba works.
