Justus Werkmeister

Justus Werkmeister is the Head of Instrumental Analytics at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research (MPI CEC) since 2018. He leads a team supporting the Molecular Catalysis Department and other research groups, specializing in analytical measurement methods such as mass spectrometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. His work focuses on quantifying reaction efficacy, developing custom analytical instruments, and addressing challenges in sample analysis from reactors and airtight vessels.
