Justin Meyer is a Lecturer in the Department of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a PhD in History from the same institution, awarded in Spring 2023. His research focuses on classical reception in the German Renaissance, particularly how Graeco-Roman ideas shaped German national identity. He is also translating a German monograph on papal speeches from the Middle Ages into English.
