Justin List, MD, MAR, MSc, FACP, is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He currently serves as Director of Health Care Outcomes at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Health Equity. Previously, he held leadership roles including Assistant Vice President at NYC Health + Hospitals and Chief Quality Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health. His professional background includes clinical practice as a primary care internist, public health policy development, and health services research.
Dr. List holds an MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, a MAR from Yale Divinity School, and an MSc from the University of Michigan Robert Wood Johnson/VA Clinical Scholars Program. His research focuses on health equity, healthcare quality improvement, and the intersection of clinical decision-making with social determinants of health. Notable initiatives include work on algorithmic bias in clinical tools, colorectal cancer screening programs, and long-COVID management strategies.
