Dr. Justin Jin is a Professor at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, and serves as Director of the CPA Ontario Centre for Accounting Research in Regulatory Reporting within the Department of Accounting and Financial Management.
His research interests include:
- Societal implications of accounting practices
- Public policy and accounting
- Corporate governance
- Political uncertainty in finance
- Bank transparency and financial literacy
- Anti-corruption and poverty mitigation
Recent publications analyze corporate social responsibility, leadership vacuums, environmental impacts of political decisions, and financial reporting transparency, reflecting interdisciplinary intersections of accounting, economics, and policy studies.
As a full-time faculty member, Dr. Jin contributes to academic leadership while maintaining an active research agenda in financial and regulatory domains.
