June Thorvaldsen Forsberg

June Thorvaldsen Forsberg is an Associate Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, affiliated with the Regional Knowledge Center for Children and Youth, North (RKBU North) and the Research Group for Health Promotion and Preventive Measures. Her work focuses on implementing and evaluating psychosocial interventions for vulnerable populations, particularly refugee children and families.

• Research Areas: Traumatic stress, PTSD, school functioning in crisis zones, educational opportunities in conflict areas, parenting support for refugee families, neurobiological development, psychometrics, and meta-analysis.
